This is my lurvly Yamaha FJ1200. I bought my FJ from a dealership in Cambridge in August 1997, for possibly too much money, but what the heck! I have to travel the country quite a lot for work ( I have to use the car for this!! ) so I don't get out and about on my bike as much as I would like to, I hope to remedy this situation in the near future. I have just discovered the FJ Owners Club and that they have runs not far ( 100 miles or so ) from where I live, so hold on to your girdle its time to hit the road!

 

Due to an incident in Cambridge with a drunk, a slippery road and a can of Tennents Super Strength, I now have a broken wing mirror and a bit of trim missing off my fairing ( which I have now found out costs about £15 ) - but with a bit of TLC and the help of a genius mechanic I hope to bring my FJ kicking and screaming into the twenty-first century.

I have recently fitted a D.I.D. race chain and sprockets and a series 7 Scottoiler in the hope that I can make this chain last a bit longer.

I have also recently had to carry out some major refit ideas due to an incident with a white estate car and a hedge ( I chose the hedge, it seemed the softer of the two options ).
